US imposes sanctions on 21 individuals, 9 firms from Russia, Ukraine
WASHINGTON, Jan 26 (PRIME) -- The U.S. has introduced sanctions against 21 individuals from Russia and Ukraine, mainly from self-proclaimed republics of Donetsk and Luhansk, and nine companies over the situation in Ukraine, according to documents seen by PRIME on Friday.
Affiliates of oil and gas company Surgutneftegas, power engineering company Power Machines, and Technopromexport, an affiliate of industrial holding Rostec, were put on the list.
Andrei Cherezov, Russia’s deputy energy minister, and Yevgeny Grabchak, a department director at the ministry, were listed among the sanctioned officials.
The sanctions concerning 12 more companies were clarified.
